{a professor once told me about the notion some writers have of poems being "homeless" until they're published in a book of some kind.  to simply have poetry on your computer, in your spiral notebook, or in your head, is never quite enough to some.  while i strive to publish my work, it's not from the standpoint of trying to give my work a home.  my poetry already has a home in my heart.  i'm just seeking its audience.}
